JSSC Recruitment 2019, 1985 Vacancies Notified for ANM.

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of ANM. Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format on or before 4 October 2019. A total of 1985 vacancies have been notified for the post of ANM under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The application process for JSSC Recruitment 2019 will start from 5 September 2019. Candidates possessing the requisite qualification can apply through online mode.

:- ANM (Backlog) – 287 Posts

Age Limit:-

:- Minimum Age: 18 Years
:- Maximum Age for UR/ OBC: 38 Years
:- Maximum Age for SC/ ST Candidates: 40 Years

Pay Scale:-

Level 4 Pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs 2400, 7th Revised Pay.

Education Qualification:-

Candidate must be 10th pass from a recognized Board (with minimum 45% marks) with 18-month ANM Training Programme.

 Pay Fee:-

Interested candidates can apply for the posts through online mode on or before October 4, 2019. Candidates can take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference.

Exam Pattern:-

There will be a 60-minute written test consisting of 50 questions. Negating will not be done in the exam. Each question will carry 1 mark. The selection process consists of Written Test(OMR).

Syllabus:-Community Health Nursing

Health, community health practices, health problems and policies, health organization, the role of the health team, community structure, rural community, community dynamics, community needs assessment, community methods and media, counseling, the concept of community-based rehabilitation.

Primary Health Care

A. Infection and vaccination – diseases, infections, immune and physiological defense mechanisms, vaccination, collection specimens (principles and methods), disinfection and sterilization, waste disposal concepts. B. Communicable diseases – Introduction to communicable diseases, communicable diseases, care in communicable diseases, epidemic management. C. Community health problems – caring for the sick in the community, fever (vital signs), respiratory problems (type and classification), aches and pains (nursing management), digestive problems, urinary problems, cardiovascular problems (signs and symptoms), neuralgia Diseases of the system (neurological problems, metabolic diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, care of the disabled. D. First aid care – Dr. Types of gases, administration of drugs, medicines used in minor illnesses, general emergency medicines E. First aid. And referral – First aid, minor injuries and illnesses, fractures, life-threatening conditions required.

Child Health Nursing

Growth and development, infant and child nutrition, children’s rights, sick childcare, school children care, school health, teen care, adolescent care.


Human reproductive system, female pelvis and fetal skull, fetus and placenta, normal pregnancy, prenatal care, normal labor, care during normal labor, normal delivery, new birth care, high-risk new-born, safe maternal hood, High risk pregnancies, pregnancy abnormalities, miscarriage, abnormal delivery, abnormal delivery, surgical intervention, midwives, drugs Jeevan Chakra Approach, Status of Women and Empowerment, Women’s Health Problems, RTI and STI, HIV / AIDS, Infertility, Population Education, Family Education.
